Llanelli Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club which was first established in 1875 by Mr John D Rogers. Stradey Park in Llanelli was the teams historic home ground until November 2008 when they moved to the new Parc y Scarlets, with its 14,870, in Pemberton. During their first games the Llanelli colours were dark blue with high collared jerseys and tight trousers reaching well below the knee. Llanelli RFC are currently competing in the Principality Premiership and finished 4th in 2008/09.
