The River Conwy rises on the Migneint Moor and flows through the Conwy Valley before spilling into the Irish Sea at Conwy, North Wales. At Glan Conwy it wets the RSPB nature reserve, before squeezing between the cob and Conwy Castle and surging below the famous trio of Conwy bridges. On past the Conwy Quay and the two Marinas of Conwy and Deganwy it enters the sea between Deganwy point and Conwy morfa. Here at Conwy the river is enjoyed by a mixed bunch including : the working fishermen and mussel gatherers of Conwy harbour ; the affluent boat owners of the marinas ; the day visitors who enjoy a pleasure boat trip up river ; and those who just like messing about in their own little boats.
