Crib Goch (923m) is a mountain ridge close to the summit of Snowdon, in North Wales. The ridge is often used by climbers / walkers making the ascent of Snowdon from the Pen-y-pass car park at the top of the Llanberis Path. At 359m above sea level Pen-y-Pass takes away the burden of a long ascent and saves you a lot of time and effort. The route to the summit can be done in three ways from Pen-y-Pass, you can ascend the mountain the easy way using the Pyg Track, and Miner’s Track all the way to the top, or for those who prefer a challenge, there is Crib Goch.

The Crib Goch ridge is very exposed and serious, having resulted in several fatalities, even of experienced mountaineers, the Snowdonia National Park Authority describe it as "not a mountain for the inexperienced". So beware! I would steer well clear of Crib Goch.
