Lord Hereford's Knob (Welsh, Twmpa) 2,260ft, (690m), is a mountain in Powys, South Wales. The mountains of Hay Bluff and Cefn Hill sit to the north west and Rhos Dyrion and Waen Fach to the south. | Close to the eastern edge of the Black Mountains, it sits a couple of miles from the border with England, and 4.5 miles (7 km) south of Hay-on-Wye. The mountain is popular with walkers and the most popular trail starts less than a mile to the west of the summit at the Gospel Pass car park. Following the climb to the summit the trail heads southeast towards Capel-y-ffin and the Valley of the Honddu River.
