Y Felinheli Gwynedd Wales
Port Dinorwic Marina is located at Y Felinheli on the beautiful Menai Strait which separates the mainland from the Isle of Anglesey. The dock was constructed in the 19th century to export slate from the Dinorwic Slate Quarries. The marina provides sheltered berthing, particularly in the lock basin. Port Dinorwic Marina is close to the World Heritage Site of Caernarfon Castle and minutes away from the pleasures of the Snowdonia National Park. A short trip across the strait takes you to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey with hundreds of miles of coastline, gorgeous coves and fantastic beaches to explore.
Facilities include:
Toilets - Showers - Laundry: facilities are situated adjacent to the Marina Office.
Fuel: Marine diesel is available during locking hours at the outer end of the tidal pontoon. Calor & Camping Gaz are also available from the Lock Keeper.
Water: / Electricity: Water hoses are available on most berths. Electricity services chargeable per day.
Slipway: in the Tidal Pontoon Basin is available to berth holders
