Sandy Haven Pembrokeshire Wales
Sandy Haven Beach is a remote sandy beach at the mouth of an inlet that looks out over Milford Haven waterway. The beach passed the water quality test with a basic pass (2008). The beach is located close to the mouth of the Milford Haven on the west coast of Pembrokeshire between Little Castle Head and South Hook Point. Sandy Haven Beach is popular for sunbathing and rockpooling and just paddling and walking ...as with many Pembrokeshire beaches it is bordered by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Dogs are allowed. Facilities: There is a campsite nearby. Car parking: There is parking above the beach on the eastern side of the estuary. Be aware: At low tide it is possible to walk across the estuary but be aware that if you are cut off by the tide you will have a long walk back.
