Tenby North Beach, is located between Monkstone Point and Tenby Castle in the town of Tenby, Pembrokeshire, South Wales. Tenby North beach is a sandy beach with a promenade, backed by cliffs and the town. One of the area's most popular beaches it is dominated by a massive rock in the middle of the beach, Goscar rock. Very popular means very busy and it can be busy on the North beach at the peak season, but the excellent water quality (2007) and the beautiful location invite even the most aquaphobic of us to take a dip in the sea at Tenby North beach. For the more energetic there are many walks nearby including exploring the town itself and Tenbys' other fantastic beaches the Castle Beach and South Beach. Indeed the Pembroke Coast Path cuts through Tenby North Beach. Facilities include toilets, with disabled access, watersports, variety of restaurants, shops and pubs nearby and there is also a first aid post. There is a slipway in the harbour near to Tenby North Beach.
