Patch beach in Cardigan, Ceredigion is a beach near Cardigan Bay, West Wales. Located on the northern shore of the Teifi Estuary’s mouth, the beach is sandy and is tucked away behind an area of sand dunes. The River Teifi is a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and includes the Teifi Marshes National Reserve and the Welsh Wildlife Centre. Seal and Dolphins are often spotted in the waters of Cardigan Bay and the whole area is an important wildlife location. Boating is a popular activity at Patch beach and other facilities in the area include disabled toilets a slipway and a campsite.
