Teifi Estuary St Dogmaels Pembrokeshire Wales
St Dogmaels Slipway beach is in St Dogmael's, Pembrokeshire. The beach is a sand and pebble beach and lies near Cardigan Bay, facing the Irish Sea. St Dogmaels (Welsh: Llandudoch) is around a mile away from Cardigan on the estuary of the River Teifi. The beach is close to the village and is a small beach which is popular for coastal walks and boating. Bottlenose Dolphins, Porpoises and Seals can be seen along the coastal path walk which heads north along the shore of Cardigan Bay. Remains of a 12th century Tironian Abbey exist in the village of St Dogmaels, this was once one of the richer monastic institutions in Wales.
