Cardigan Bay, West Wales Llandanwg Gwynedd Wales
Llandanwg beach is the beach of Llandanwg village in the Ardudwy area of Gwynedd, Wales. The beach faces the Irish Sea and is located south of Harlech at the southern end of Tremadog Bay. Situated within the Snowdonia national park, Llandanwg is a sandy beach with a 13th century church concealed in the sand dunes and a small estuary backing onto the beach. The River Artro runs through the village and into the sea at Llandanwg beach. |
The beach is suitable for windsurfing, sailing and kayaking. As well as visiting the church to see it’s wonderful interior, there are plenty of coastal walks in the area which stretch into the National park. Local facilities include shops, toilets, disabled toilets and food.
