As an area of outstanding natural beauty, Maentwrog provides plenty of walks where you can take in the breathtaking views of the Welsh countryside, and you can visit the two waterfalls just below the village, known as Raven Falls and Rhaeadr Du (The Black Waterfall), which offer a number of excellent vantage points.
| With its close proximity to Snowdon mountain (being just 29 minutes away), visitors can take a railway up to the mountain peak, where you can appreciate the breathtaking views of Snowdonia National Park from the comfort of the café.
