St Bees is a quiet seaside retreat lying south of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria. It is most famous for St Bees Head, the starting point for the Coast to Coast Walk, devised by hiker and author Alan Wainwright.
A nature reserve sits on the Head, where visitors can watch Black Guillemots, terns, puffins and a variety of other birds from several observation hides. It is an interesting and enjoyable place for adults and children alike.....
