Newby Bridge
Newby Bridge is so-called after the stone bridge which crosses the river Leven, formed by Windermere. It is in the heart of the Lake District National Park, situated on the southern edge of Windermere, and has close proximity to Coniston, Erwent Water and Grange-over-Sands.
On the other side of the river is Lakeside, where the Aquarium of the Lakes is based. Rather than take the roads, visitors can take a boat from Windermere to Lakeside Pier.....
