Llanfoist is a village that lies on the lower slopes of Blorenge (561m) in the Usk Valley in Monmouthshire, Wales. The village lies south west of Abergavenny, north west of Llanellen, north east of Blaenavon and south east of Crickhowell.
Llanfoist, Welsh: Llanffwyst, lies between the River Usk and the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal winds its way through 35 miles of peaceful countryside all the way from Brecon to Cwmbran. Its pretty scenery and lightly-locked route make it understandably popular with holidaymakers.
