Ewenny sits on the south eastern edge of Bridgend in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. It is the location of one of the largest priories in Wales. In the 12th century William de Londres came to Ewenny and built a church dedicated to St Michael. In 1141 his son Maurice founded the Benedictine priory next door and granted the church to St Peter's abbey in Gloucester, as well as the churches of St Brides Major and St Michael in Colwinston.
Like the Black Lady of Boverton, the area surrounding the Priory also has its own ghost. Little is known of the White Lady but legend says that she committed a terrible sin long ago and her spirit is condemned to roam the earth in penance.
