Dyffryn sits in the shadow of Foel y Dyffryn (345m) on the banks of the river Llynfi in Bridgend county, South Wales. The Llynfi flows southward for about 10 miles before its confluence with the river Garw and the river Ogmore at Aberkenfig.
Because of its location in the beautiful Llynfi valley, there are plenty of enjoyable walks to take in the area. The valley abounds with Roman earthworks and early burial grounds, as well the remains of the coal and iron mining industry which South Wales is famous for. ....
