The Jack Mytton Way, Shropshire's long distance bridleway, (for use by those on foot, bicycle and horseback). Over 100 miles of rural bridleways and quiet country lanes, this trail takes you through some of Shropshire's most beautiful and unspoilt countryside. The development of the southern loop, through some of the lesser known parts of South Shropshire, means that you can now do a circular ride. | There is also a series of 10 circular rides off the Jack Mytton off the Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge area. These interlinking routes varying between 5 and 20 miles, give you the chance to spend a few hours or days soaking up the scenery. |The routes include : Cleobury Mortimer to Chelmarsh Distance 15 miles (24km); Route 2, Chelmarsh to Much Wenlock Distance 17 miles (27km); Route 3, Much Wenlock to Roman Bank Distance 9 miles (14.5km); Route 4, Roman Bank to Plowden Distance 16 miles (26km); Route 5, Plowden to Clun Distance 9 miles (14.5km); Route 6 Clun to Llanfair Waterdine Distance 8 miles (13km); Route 7, Roman Bank to Wheathill Distance 9 miles (14.5km); Route 8, Wheathill to Cleobury Mortimer Distance 10 miles (16km).
