A walk along the promenade at Beaumaris, Anglesey delivers this great viewpoint of Beaumaris Pier. And what a pier! It can be appreciated when the tide is in by a brisk walk along the traditional wooden decking. Its all spick and span unlike some piers. When the tide is out, as in the picture, we get a completely different view of the structure of the pier. The timbers appear to be in excellent condition and the sunset brings out the sharp contrast between the bright red of the pier furniture and the emerald green of the seaweed covered stanchions. ....
