Corwen Pavilion, Pafiliwn Corwen, was where Wales' first Urdd Eisteddfod was held in 1929. It’s one of the largest public halls in North Wales and is a centre for Welsh cultural activities. It has hosted several concerts and eisteddfodau and also hosts the Glyndwr Farmers Christmas Market.

Since 2010 the pavilion has been under threat of demolition. Corwen’s Save the Pavilion group has until July 1 - 2011 to prove they have enough cash to make the major repairs it needs. If not a court will decide whether demolition work will go ahead. If it does, the local community will have the option to take on the land as a charitable trust which could see a new community centre built. ....
