The Roberts', Nerys and Danny, have been at Y Bistro for over two decades at their comfortable restaurant situated on the main street in the lake-side village at the foot of Snowdon. During this time, Nerys has won many accolades for her cooking skills, the most recent being recommended in the red-book "Eating well in Wales" for excellent use of local produce. Indeed, over the years we have been included in all the major food guides here and abroad. Nerys has appeared on numerous television shows and on the radio. Danny, being front of house, has been described as being genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, and is always willing to advise on wines including a few from Wales. The restaurant is spread over two dining rooms, both of which are non smoking, the smallest seating 10 and the other 45, with a separate cosy bar and lounge area.....
