A warm welcome awaits you at the Gwarcefel Arms when you enter this family owned and run county pub-restaurant. We serve an excellent range of lagers, draught beers and guest ales all to the highest quality. We have an International wine list and a great selection of soft drinks. Either sit and chat or entertain yourself on the pool table or games machine while a jukebox provides a range of music to suit all tastes.
Our non-smoking restaurant can accommodate up to 40 persons or a full coach party by using the bars. All our food is freshly prepared on the premises and cooked to order. Our qualified, experienced and imaginative chef is very adaptable should you have any individual requirements regarding special diets.
There is a varied A La Carte menu with a selection of steaks, main courses, vegetarian dishes and salads. These are served with a choice of homemade chips, or mashed, new or jacket potatoes and fresh vegetables, peas, or side salad. Every week we offer our chef's specials; a range of value for money dishes that feature homemade sauces. Details of these along with our delicious homemade desserts are displayed in the restaurant. We cater for children by providing a special menu of their favourite foods, served with chips and a choice of peas, beans, salad or a healthy pasta option.
Bar snacks are available through out the day and evening including sandwiches and fresh rolls featuring our home cooked ham, toasties etc.
We offer a selection of good International wines including Welsh that are competitively priced to compliment your meal. House wines served by the glass or bottle - Premium Quality Wines - or our Mini Cellar Range - something to suit all tastes and budgets.
A homely atmosphere is provided in our non-smoking restaurant which can accommodate up to 40 persons. The tables and chairs can be re-arranged to provide tables from 2 to 12 persons, or the whole restaurant can be booked for parties, weddings etc. There are fold back connecting doors to the restaurant-bar where a further 12 people can be seated.

Coach Parties: Coach parties are welcome at the Gwarcefel Arm, situated in some of the most beautiful countryside in South Wales. Why not stop at this homely pub for morning coffee or afternoon tea? Or during a scenic mystery tour take a light lunch en route or round the trip off with an evening meal. In order to provide an efficient service for our customers pre-booking is recommended with 24 hour notice appreciated for coffee and tea stops and 48 hours for food including our range of home-made desserts. Menus can be faxed in advance to provide an even quicker service. Drivers and couriers are provided with free food and/or drinks.
