The Llangollen Railway is the only preserved standard-gauge railway in Mid and North Wales. The eight mile route runs along the Dee Valley from Llangollen to Carrog, and is part of the former Great Western Railway's line from Ruabon to Barmouth. The Llangollen Railway operates throughout the year; at weekends and holiday times at the beginning and end of the year, and daily from late-May to October (inclusive).....
