Moel Siabod (872m) is a mountain in Snowdonia, Conwy County, North Wales. Moel Siabod is located to the south of Capel Curig , to the north of Dolwyddelan and west of Betws-y-coed. It is the highest peak in the Moelwynion mountain range. The UK National Mountain Centre, Plas-y-Brenin, is located at the foot of Moel Siabod close to Capel Curig. The mountain is easily accessible from the north via Capel Curig and Pont Cyfyng and from the south via Dolwyddelan. There is a hanging valley to the south of the summit that contains a small lake, Llyn-y-Foel, which flows into Afon Ystumiau, a tributary of the Afon Lledr.....
