, Penrhyn Bay, Conwy County, Wales,
The Little Orme (141m), Creigiau Rhiwledyn in Welsh, is a limestone headland situated between Llandudno Bay and Penrhyn Bay in Conwy County, North Wales. The Little Orme is the lesser known of the two headlands the Great Orme and the Little Orme that form the beautiful Llandudno Bay. Limestone quarrying took place on the Little Orme in the 19th Century and continued to the mid 20th Century. There is little evidence today of any industrial activity except for the contours of the land on the eastern slopes and some abandoned industrial machinery. The North Wales Path crosses the Little Orme, and the summit offers good views of both Llandudno Bay and the Great Orme to the west, and Penrhyn Bay and Rhos Point to the east. The path skirts the secluded Angel Bay, Porth Dyniewaid in Welsh, where seals can often be seen, and locals visit during warm summer days.
