The Pendam is one of three main mountain bike trails at Nant yr Arian all starting from the Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre close to the village of Ponterwyd. The visitor centre is conveniently located just off the A44 in a beautiful lakeside setting. The Nant-yr-Arian Pendam Mountain Bike Trail is the easiest of the trails and combines short sections of the other two trails. It gives you a taste of the beautiful scenery and fantastic rides that are available. Although only six miles long and classed as moderate the Pendam still offers some hard climbs and technically difficult sections. Combined with the hill sections the route takes in the lakes of Llyn Blaen melindwr, Llyn Syfydrin, and of course Llyn Pendam before returning to the Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre. Grade : Moderate.
