The Pola Cinema is housed in a lovely building in Berriew Street Welshpool. It is now housed on the first floor of Welshpool’s original 1930's built Cinema, in the centre of town. Known more recently as the Park Diner it was purpose built as the Pola Cinema in 1938. Both screens feature full Dolby stereo sound. The cinema aims to get films either on or very close to their release date so that there is no need to travel if you want to see the latest films, but you will have to be quick as they only usually have them for one or two weeks and once they are gone there gone. ....
