Our mixed-course fishery has two pools set in pleasant surroundings. They are well-stocked with Carp to 15lb, Bream to 5lb and Tench to 3lb. We also have many Rudd, Roach, some large Chub, Crucian, Perch and Gudgeon. Heron Pit: The Heron Pit has 27 well-spaced pegs set in scenic surroundings. Pete's Pond: Pete’s Pool was cleared out and reshaped in 2005, and was stocked in the same year. It then opened in the spring of 2006. The pool is named after my dad who I sadly lost in October 2005. We had started the pool together and he never got to see it finished. It is therefore named Pete’s Pool after my wonderful dad, Peter Baker...It has 8 pegs (2 with disabled access). It is located next to the Car Park, and so is ideal for those with walking difficulties (the Heron Pit is accessed through 100m of field).
