Smooth and Scratch: You can get close to the animals and feed some of them yourself with the feed on sale. Other animals you can feed with us, the baby calves are bottle fed in the morning and in the afternoon after milking and the pigs are fed at lunchtime.
Grass to Glass: Watch the milking and discover where the creamy white stuff you put on your cereal comes from.
Fun Finding: Follow the farm trail around the fields and the mini woodland trail to spot wildlife. There are searches and quizzes to do every day to make sure you don’t miss anything – and a small reward if you get them right.
Clamber and Climb: To have fun and get you fit there are swings, slides, an adventure playground and a maze.
Tractor and Trailer Trundle: At peak times, that is weekends and holidays, Farmer Rob will give you a bumpy ride around the fields for thrills and hopefully not spills!
Or just relax with a picnic or a cup of coffee and soak up the peace of the countryside.
Schools and Groups: We have been welcoming educational visits since 1988. Some educational visits are free and sponsored by Natural England. The day’s activities on the farm can be linked to many areas of the National Curriculum. Pre-booked visits can be organised at any time during the year by appointment.
