, Aberaeron, Ceredigion, Wales,
Aberaeron Beach (South) is a rock and shingle beach just to the south of the town and harbour of Aberaeron, West Wales. Although lacking in sand the beach offers sailing, windsurfing, paddling and swimming, and is a great start point for a pleasant coastal walk through to New Quay on the Cardigan Coastal Path. The water quality received a basic pass in 2008. Facilities include toilets. disabled toilets, a slipway and a first aid centre. Although Aberaeron is a beautiful little town and harbour and well worth a visit for its many attractions I would not recommend the beach for a great day out with the kids. There are many better beaches in Wales. ....
