Freshwater East Beach is a sandy beach backed by dunes and the surrounding headlands of West Moor Cliff and Trewent Point. The beach has excellent water quality (2008). Freshwater beach is located on the south coast of Pembrokeshire between Stackpole Head and Swanlake Bay. The beach is popular for windsurfing, surfing, sailing, fishing, swimming, and walkers ...as with many Pembrokeshire beaches it is bordered by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Dogs are allowed. Facilities: The beach offers a Cafe/restaurant, local pub, shops, toilets, and a slipway. It is close to the village of Freshwater East. Car parking: Paid parking is available.
