West Wales, Llanengan, Gwynedd, Wales,
Hells Mouth beach, (welsh: Porth Neigwl) sits between Porth Ysgo and Abersoch, close to the tip of the Llyn Peninsula in the north west of Wales. It is a south west facing beach popular with surfers and kayakers because of the large waves. It is a gently shelving beach, consisting mainly of medium sized pebbles at high tide and with vast expanses of sand. There are a number of walks nearby, indeed the Llyn Coastal Path runs alongside the beach. The water quality was excellent in 2009. Dogs are allowed on the beach. A small car park is available located between the beach and the village of Llanengan. Vehicular access to this beach is not permitted. Car parking is free of charge (2009).....
