Ty Croeso translates from Welsh to House of Welcome and you can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome from Linda Jarrett, Pavel Vitek. We offer quiet, comfortable bed and breakfast with evening meals if requested in advance. Free WiFi access. The breakfast menu is on our web site. We use local, organic and fairtrade supplies wherever possible. Ty Croeso is set in a wooded spot high on the hillside above the Monmouth and Brecon canal with magnificent views over the River Usk and the Black Mountains, yet only half a mile from the town of Crickhowell. Ty Croeso, constructed from Welsh stone, dates from the early 19th century and was originally part of a Victorian Workhouse. It has been tastefully refurbished to provide every convenience for its guests. All the bedrooms are en-suite and individually furnished to a high standard and with splendid views. Ty Croeso is ideally located for all outdoor activities such as walking, fishing, horse riding, golf, canoeing, cycling, mountain biking and gliding. Guided walking packages available. Also ideal for visiting Abergavenny, Brecon, Bit Pit at Blaenavon, Hay on Way and Llanthony Abbey,
