With a peaceful, tranquil location in the heart of the Shropshire Hills, this traditional country inn is perfect for a relaxing break or as a comfortable base from which to enjoy some of the region's wonderful walks. The inn is quiet and relaxing, but has a convenient location on the main A49 road between Craven Arms and Church Stretton. The inn has 12 fully equipped en suite rooms, each with a TV. Wireless internet access is available throughout and disabled facilities are also available. There is a residents' lounge with a large flat-screen TV and board games. The inn also has lovely beer gardens, a children's play area and camping. The à la carte menu offers tasty home-cooked food and the inn's famous carvery is available day and night.
food was excellent, carvery and breakfast was lovely, staff were helpfull.
