Bed and Breakfast in Rhydlydan, Conwy County
Wales

Situated at the gateway of Snowdoniaâs National Park, this small, family-run B&B is set within an area of natural beauty, amidst the rolling heather moors of the Hiraethog.
Llwyn Onn is a former Victorian Watermill sympathetically restored into a modern welcoming guest house. Nestled amid 6 acres of land, the house boasts beautiful views, a natural lake to the front, with ducks and local wildlife, and open fields leading up to the Berwyn Mountain range behind.
Within easy reach of Clocanog Forest and Lynn Brenig, which is popular for fishing and boating, the house also provides the perfect base for walking holidays; nearby you will find Bala Lake and Betws-y-Coed and Denbigh Moors. Bala Lake also offers white-water rafting and sailing.
The guest house offers access to an indoor swimming pool (open from the end of April until the end of September).
The pool is also used by campers during the day. If you would like to reserve the pool outside of the normal opening hours, please request this when you arrive at the guest house.
Designed to be welcoming and homely, all rooms are non-smoking and provided with a hospitality tray, colour TV and an information pack about the area.
One ground floor double en suite room is available for guests who may have trouble with stairs, however it is not equipped with disabled facilities.
Breakfast is served between 08:00- 09:00.
Llwyn Onn is happy to provide packed lunches if requested. Anyone who would like one to be made up for the following day should order the evening before.
There are many places to eat and drink in the area:
There is the local Hostillery which serves food lunchtimes and evenings, as well as a good selection of ales, wines and spirits. As well as 2 other pubs close by, Betws-y-coed (8 miles away) has a good selection of restaurants and fast-food outlets.
The friendly staff will be happy to assist in a restaurant choice and make reservations for you.
There is much to see and do in North Wales and the B&B is positioned centrally for most attractions and activities. Situated on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, with excellent views of the mountain range, the house is under one hour away from the foot of Mount Snowdon.
A recently completed project has now added some excellent cycle trails around the Alwen, the trail around the Alwen has the option of meeting up with the Brenig.
By Car:
The house is situated on the main A5 London - Holyhead Route
in the village of Rhydlydan; 8 miles from Betws-coed and 22 miles from LLangollen.
By Train:
Llandudno Junction is the nearest main line station. From here it is a 40 minute journey by bus service or taxi (times and charges for these modes of transport vary, contact the B&B directly for more information).
