Set in the Cotswolds countryside the Dark Barn is a 10-minute drive from Gloucester. This 400-year old hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and large rooms that each feature a private bathroom.
The Dark Barn has a variety of rooms, suites and a cottage. They all include a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities, whilst suites also have a luxury spa bath and double shower.
The hotel’s The Bluebell Cottage accommodation has a kitchenette equipped with a cooker, fridge and microwave. The large lounge has 2 sofas and a DVD player.
The Dark Barn also offers an on-site coffee shop and pub restaurant boasting a range of traditional meals. There is also a well-stocked bar and lounge area for guests to relax in.
For keen golfers, Rodway Hill Golf Course is just 2 miles from the Dark Barn. Only 15 minutes’ drive away is the beautiful regency town of Cheltenham, renowned for its famous racecourse.
From Gloucester:
- Take the A40 for Ross on Wye.
- Turn right onto the B4215 for Newent.
- On entering the village of Rudford, continue past the Tibberton/Taynton turning and turn right at the brown and white sign for the gymnasium and Dark Barn.
