The self-catering house has a retro Edwardian décor that includes a phonogram, books, newspapers of the day and card games. Much of Thomas' published output was written in the house.
The house has 1 double, 1 twin and 2 single rooms including Dylan’s tiny bedroom with its original gas lamp point.
Cwmdonkin Park, is close by and Mumbles and Gower beaches start 5 miles from Dylan Thomas House. Guided tours and walks are available.
Dylan Thomas House was bought as a new property by the Thomas family in 1914, a few months before Dylan was born in the front bedroom. The house played a large part in the development of one of the finest poets of the 20th century.
