An enchanting 16th century listed holiday cottage, one of a pair, is set in a quiet picturesque hamlet, within the owners grounds, with 1-acre of garden/grounds and is just a short distance from Sidmouth. The conservatory has uninterrupted views over the beautiful Harpford woods to which access is easy. The cottage has some low ceilings with a wealth of exposed beams and original features. Decorated and furnished to a very good standard, the property is an ideal location for a family holiday. There are many attractions close by including Crealy, a great day out for all the family, and fantastic walks along the Jurassic Coast. There are many great things to discover within the natural and built environment of the South West coast path, from stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, to fascinating reminders of the history and heritage. On both the landward and the seaward side of the coastal path, there’s plenty to look out for, including seals basking on outcrops of rock or even a pod of dolphins. Take in towns like Branscombe, Beer, Seaton and of course Sidmouth, with its array of shops, restaurants and walks on the sandy and pebbly beach. Golfing, horse-riding, fantastic bird watching estuarys, walks and water sports are all close by. There are many NT properties all worth a visit including Killerton House, Castle Drogo and many more. Take a trip to Dartmoor National Park and take in the Tors and open spaces, or stop by in one of the pretty villages to have a Devon cream tea. There is so much to see in this part of Devon that one visit will not be enough. Shop and pub
