This delightful, spacious timber-framed black and white property is located within walking distance of the local inn in the village of Kingsland on the borders of Herefordshire and the Welsh Marches. The oldest parts of the property date back to the 1400s, and it has been owned by the same family for almost a century. Standing detached, and set back from the main road, it retains many period features including a spacious panelled hallway, a Victorian bathroom, a breakfast room with cosy Rayburn and characterful scullery, yet with its contemporary kitchen it provides a very comfortable holiday base from which to explore the surrounding areas.
Set in 1 acre of natural, unspoilt grounds, the property is the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a relaxing break. With an abundance of attractions within driving distance there is the renowned black and white village trail, many National Trust properties including Berrington Hall and Croft Castle, the cathedrals of Hereford and Worcester or for keen walkers there is the Mortimer Trail, Offa’s Dyke and Glyndwrs Way all within easy reach.
