A period, listed cottage, with exposed beams, it is set within the owners’ 5-acre grounds. An ideal holiday base from which to tour the spectacular countryside of Shropshire and The Marches, medieval Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Ellesmere Lakes and Llangollen are accessible. Hawkstone Park follies, Oswestry, Wroxeter’s Roman ruins and vineyard are within easy driving distance, as are many National Trust properties. Riding, swimming, fishing and golf available locally. Shrewsbury 3½ miles. Shop and pub 1 mile.
Entrance via secluded garden. Ground floor: Hall. Beamed living room with open fire and door to garden. Dining room with beams and quarry-tiled floor. Fully fitted kitchen.
