There is a wide range of leisure pursuits available locally, with a choice of walking, cycling, horse riding, horse racing, kayaking, boating, swimming and dry skiing as well as theatres, cinemas, pubs and restaurants. In addition, the Three Counties Showground is just 5 minutes away. There is also good touring to be enjoyed in unspoilt countryside - Upton-on-Severn (famous for its annual international jazz festival), Malvern and the market town of Ledbury are all within 10 miles. Close by is the spa town of Cheltenham with its famous racecourse and majestic shopping promenade, as well as the cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester. The Brecon Beacons, the Wye Valley and the Cotswolds are all within easy reach, as is Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare and home to the Royal Shakespeare Company.
