Magnificent views
This stone farmhouse nestles on the hillside, 25 yards from the owner’s house and surrounded by farmland in this AONB with magnificent views south to the Long Mynd. It has its own access and parking. Four pubs and the village shop are within easy reach of this tranquil setting. Several other pubs are within a short car journey. The town of Bishop’s Castle is ten minutes away, with a wonderful delicatessen and several interesting cafes and pubs, two of which brew their own beer. The gastronomic centre of Ludlow with its market and castle and the fascinating Coalbrookdale museums at Ironbridge are about half an hour away as is the county town of Shrewsbury with all modern facilities including theatre, multiplex cinema and many restaurants is 20 minutes’ drive. Walking, gliding, paragliding and pony trekking are amongst the numerous outdoor holiday activities the area is famous for. The Long Mynd, Offa’s Dyke, the Shropshire Way and the Stiperstones are all nearby. Shops, pubs and restaurant 1¼ miles.
