Close to the lovely old market towns of Lampeter and Tregaron, yet only 15 miles from the heritage harbour town of Aberaeron along the unspoilt sandy Ceredigion coastline, making it a perfect base for both nature lovers and beach goers alike. The grounds attract a wonderful array of birds from Nut Hatches and Red Starts to Owls and majestic Red Kites soaring overhead. Guests are welcome to explore the gardens, woodland and play area and take in the beautiful views, clean air and peaceful environment. With no light pollution, clear night skies reveal thousands of stars. The surrounding area offers so much to see and do, from activities such as walking, cycling, golfing, fishing and pony trekking to historical properties, castles and beach resorts offering a wide array of activities from surfing to dolphin & seal watching cruises. Ty Fferm (W42315), meaning Farm House, has been beautifully restored and was originally a working farm dating back to the early 1700’s and still retains many of the original features including a large inglenook fireplace. Ty Barcud (W42316), meaning Red Kite House, has been tastefully restored from an old traditional Welsh barn, originally used as the cow shed and still retains many of it’s original features and beams.
