Situated within Kidwelly, Alexander House is a tastefully decorated and furnished detached property, offering a very comfortable base for exploring the delights of the surrounding area. There are many historical places of interest to visit, with the Dylan Thomas Boat House in Laugharne, Kidwelly Castle and many other Welsh castles within the vicinity. Visitors can enjoy a day at Pembrey Country Park which is close by; also within easy driving distance are the National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens. There are many beaches - Ferryside, Pembrey, Cefn Sidan, Llansteffan to name but a few. Further afield to the south, the breathtaking scenery and beautiful beaches of the stunning Gower coast (Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) can be enjoyed. To the west is the historical walled town of Tenby, again with wonderful beaches. For fun days out, families can enjoy Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm. Golf, fishing, horse-riding and quad biking are all available within the area. Swansea and Carmarthen offer great shopping, with many restaurants and bars. Shops and pub ¼ mile.
