This stunning architect and interior designed holiday property is one of a pair standing on the beach front half a mile from Rhosneigr and is accessed via a shared half mile private drive. There are panoramic views of the sea or foreshore from most rooms and the first floor sitting room has amazing views across to the Welsh Mountains and the Lleyn Peninsular. A sloping pathway from the front patio and garden leads down to a quiet beach with rock pools adjacent to a glorious half mile stretch of sandy beach.
Rhosneigr’s shops, pubs and restaurants are within walking distance and its beach is popular with both wind and kite surfers. (There is a wind and kite surfing school in the village for those wishing to take advantage of tuition). Swimming, canoeing, sailing, sand-yacht racing, riding and golf are all available in Rhosneigr. Beaumaris makes for a pleasant visit with its historic castle (complete with moat), Jacobean Courthouse and Museum of Childhood Memories which holds a display of over 2000 toys. Trips around puffin Island are available from the pier to see the nesting razorbills, puffins and guillemots or visit the RSPB centre at South Stack lighthouse.
Other notable attractions on Anglesey include the Anglesey Sea Zoo, nature reserves and Plas Newydd National Trust property. There are many coastal walks including the coastal path right around the island, whilst the Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach by car giving access to the wonderful mountain walks of the area.
