Lake View cottage forms a wing of the main house at Llwyn Madoc built in 1747, and has been renovated and restored to provide a comfortable and well decorated holiday property. Situated in the Abergwesyn Valley, it lies in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains (designated for their unspoilt beauty and remoteness as an Environmentally Sensitive Area), where there is wonderful walking, biking and riding to be enjoyed. Local attractions include Wolf’s Leap, Devil’s Staircase, Llyn Brianne with its wild and inspiring scenery, and many miles of unspoilt mountain, forest and lake scenery, overflown by red kites and buzzards. Shops 1 mile.
