Warm and welcoming lodge, with wonderful views over Wye Valley, and with own hot tub to relax in.

Easily accessed year round, this border territory is marked by stunning scenery and brooding castles, there are delightful market towns to explore and the walking is excellent, whether on Offa’s Dyke, in the Forest or along the river bank. Chepstow’s racecourse and golf courses about 5 miles. Shop and pub/restaurant 1 mile.

I gave the amenities 7 as the pub which was about a mile away was only open 1 day of the 7 haha but that's me being picky. The place was amazing. Relaxing. Peaceful. Tranquil. Just so so nice. Can't fault it at all. Tintern itself was nearby and lovely food available. The Piercefield pub is HIGHLY recommended and dog friendly. We will return.

Just needs wifi and it would be 100% perfect, I would rate it at 99.9% perfect as it is now.

Fantastic lodge and absolutely gorgeous location, secluded and private. It was our second visit and we loved it just as much as the first time. The view is amazing! My son and our dog love playing in the large garden. If I could move in permanently I would! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

This must be our 16th visit and never tire of returning to this wonderful lodge which is set in such a peaceful and relaxing location. It's like home from home and are already looking forward to our next holiday there in September.

Overall lovely relaxing break with stunning views! Just a few tweaks here and there, fridge handle, draw front, both cracked ,mould on hot tub head rests, nothing major but for the price ,would expect tip top condition. Please understand that we still had a wonderful holiday and would definitely like to return. Plenty to see and do in the area with lots of lovely walks straight from the lodge.

We are a couple with a dog.Brockweir is a walkers paradise, beautiful area, quiet location.Village store was only 15mins walk & was very well stocked.Locals very friendly & helpful. The views from the property were stunning, although the dog was able to escape from the garden the lanes are very quiet.
