Morawel is a beautiful cottage which is set in a stunning location. The house is well equipped and feels homely. Aberaeron is a lovely town and the delicious honey ice-cream shop is conveniently situated at the corner of the road. We had a wonderful family holiday and would love to return one day.

Best location, very clean, very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. We will be coming back to stay in Morawel. Fingers crossed it isn't booked next time we want to stay.

2nd time there - enjoyed it just as much as last year (same week) in spite of continuous rain. Great location for walking to eating , drinking and shops ; car parking not easy during day but always lots of room overnight right outside Morawel. Note that there is a food festival on the quay the week after we were there 24/6 to 1/7 - it may be hard to unload luggage outside the house, and I suspect parking is bad that week. Great house - can sit upstairs and view the whole outer harbour, tides and boats coming in and out and great sunsets over the sea.

This was our second visit to Morawel as we enjoyed it so much the first time. The accommodation is ideally situated on the harbour front with wonderful views of the harbour where you can watch the tide going in and out and people watch! It's within easy walking distance of restaurants, pubs, local shops. It's clean, comfortable and very well stocked with kitchen equipment. We hope to return again.

Fantastic well equipped cottage in a perfect location. Pub and restaurant along the quay, fish and chips down the road and ice cream round the corner. We had sunshine all week as well - wonderful holiday.

Morawel is a lovely house in a great location on the Quayside, within walking distance of shops & eateries. The house has been beautifully restored & sleeps 4-5 with ease (6 if using studio couch in the lounge). However, the kitchen equipment left a lot to be desired. The microwave was badly rusted, crockery was chipped, freezer was iced up, extractor fan didn't work, some of the fridge baskets were damaged, baking tins were unusable, oven instructions were missing. One of the dining chairs was broken. We were unable to regulate the heating and the towel rails & radiators were very hot. We spent some uncomfortable nights trying to sleep. We contacted Joyce, the manager, who came round & we pointed out the problems. She took away the damaged items & mentioned that she was going to order another microwave & fridge baskets, after taking measurements of them. We were very disappointed that a check had not been carried out prior to our arrival especially as it appeared no one had been staying at the property for a few weeks.
