A fine example of a large, characterful Victorian stone built farmhouse situated in a unique location within its very own valley (Eunant Valley). Its sunny position on the very edge of the Snowdonia National Park allows for total peace and tranquillity, with no immediate neighbours. Originally built to replace Eunant Hall, one of the properties that was submerged by the lake in 1888, the property has retained many original features such as flagstone flooring and the original staircase. Lake Vyrnwy, which can be seen from the house, is a reservoir with a spectacular Victorian stone built dam. Today it is an idyllic location, especially for ornithology, cycling, walking, fishing and water activities. Nationally known as a nature reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest, guests to the region can be sure to learn something from this magnificent area. All of Snowdonia National Park, with its exceptional walking landscape is easily acessible from Eunant, as are Cheshire and Shropshire, allowing for a wide variety of attractions for all interests and ages. The Lake Vyrnwy Hotel and bar serving good food is at the other end of the lake. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
