Woodberry is a 100 year old former stable block situated in a courtyard on the Talhenbont Hall Country Estate near to Criccieth in North Wales. With two double bedrooms (both with ensuite facilities) and two twins well as a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep eight people. The cottage also contains a well equipped kitchen with an adjoining laundry room, a dining hall with a galleried staircase and a sitting room with an inglenook fireplace and French doors. Outside the cottage is a large terrace with outdoor furniture and a BBQ as well as plenty of off road parking. There are also fishing, tennis and woodland walks included with this cottage. With a number of other cottages on site making it ideal for large groups of over thirty people, Woodberry is a wonderful holiday home for anyone wishing to explore the delights of North Wales.
In a truly idyllic position, the 100-acre estate of Talhenbont lies in the beautiful unspoilt countryside of the Lleyn Peninsula. Within the estate are many exciting activities for guests staying at the immaculately restored cottages such as an all weather tennis court, outdoor chess, "The Quackery" - which houses a great variety of birds – and "Fort Good", an adventure playground for children. The Talhenbont estate is one of the finest self catering retreats in Wales, but the area’s attractions aren’t limited to those on site. The local area offers a variety of castles, beaches, golf courses and the Snowdonia National Park as well as an extensive range of succulent dishes provided by local restaurants and inns. The climate of this area of Wales is particularly mild, making it an ideal vacation spot regardless of the time of year.
