Bodnant Welsh Food is located at Furnace Farm, Bodnant in the Conwy Valley, Conwy County, North Wales. It stands next to the A470, some 4 miles south of the A470 junction with the A55 expressway.
Furnace Farm is a wonderful range of stone farm buildings dating from the 18th century that was once the home farm for the Bodnant Estate. The old buildings are now being coaxed back to a new and exciting life - as a home for the best in local and Welsh food.
At Bodnant Welsh Food there will be a farm shop selling predominantly Welsh produce, a tea-room and restaurant serving mainly Welsh food, a cookery school where chefs will offer a whole range of courses and a dairy which will make cheese from local milk, as well as ice-cream and yoghurt.
The farm shop at Bodnant Welsh Food will stock produce primarily from the Conwy Valley, from North Wales and from Wales more generally, as well as a range of their own homemade products. We have already started to meet producers and have seen (and tasted!) some excellent, innovative and surprising products from venison and hazelnut terrine, to beautiful goats' cheese, aronia or chokeberry liqueur and hedgerow jams and jellies packed with flavour, not to mention a vast array of wonderful cakes.
Furnace will also provide a home for the new National Beekeeping Centre for Wales.

My first visit to Bodnant Welsh Food centre today. The court yard cafe was busy with people enjoying ice creams in the sunshine.
Lot's of visitors in the farm shop too. Good to see a new Quality venture doing well!
